428th Fighter Squadron Emblem Short-Sleeve Unisex T-Shirt

This is the WWII-era emblem of the 428th Fighter Squadron, featuring a wolf riding a P-38 Lightning-type aircraft. This squadron was activated near the end of 1943 and flew P-38 Lightning fighters over Europe. It performed reconnaissance and ground-attack during D-Day, the Battle of the Bulge and the crossing of the Rhine. The squadron was inactivated and reactivated over the years, but is still active today.
