45th Pursuit Squadron Emblem Short-Sleeve Unisex T-Shirt

The squadron that bore this emblem began in 1940 as the 45th Pursuit Squadron, and was present on Oahu, Hawaii, during the Pearl Harbour attack in 1941. They fought the war in the Pacific in P-40s, P-47s and P-51s, later providing escort to B-29 missions over Japan. After the was the squadron transferred into jet aircraft, and obtained the first USAF MiG kill of the Vietnam War in an F-4 Phantom. Eventually, the squadron transitioned into A-10 Thunderbolt IIs.
