714th Bombardment Squadron Emblem Short-Sleeve Unisex T-Shirt

This is the insignia of the 714th Bombardment Squadron. This squadron was activated in early 1943, and primarily flew B-24 Liberator bombers over Europe, most notably bombing industrial targets in Germany such as ball bearing plants and V-1 missile production facilities. In addition to this, the squadron performed more precision bombings on D-Day, Operation Market Garden and the Battle of the Bulge. The 714th was retrained on B-29s after the war, before being deactivated in 1951.
