SR-71 Flight Test Patch Short-Sleeve Unisex T-Shirt

This is a Flight Test patch for the SR-71 tail number #955. 955 was used as a test aircraft by Lockheed and the USAF to test systems before they were added to serving aircraft. 955 was never meant to leave the US, but it carried out one mission overseas, flying from the UK to the Barents Sea hunting Soviet submarines with an extremely powerful radar. For this mission, it was disguised with another tail number. 955 was retired in 1985 and still survives today at the Edwards Air Force Base.
